In our seventh year, the Girls Who Click teen conservation photography workshop continued to demonstrate its impact by providing young women with the skills and opportunities to document wildlife and conservation efforts. The program successfully combined hands-on field experience with expert instruction, empowering participants to develop their photography talents while deepening their understanding of environmental issues. This year’s workshop maintained a strong commitment to fostering creativity and conservation awareness, resulting in a diverse portfolio of compelling images that highlight the importance of protecting natural habitats.

With twelve girls in attendance this year, we kept them busy photographing the local wildlife including Harbor Seals, California Sea Lions, California Gulls, Brown Pelicans, Brandt’s Cormorants and California Ground Squirrels.
